About Engelmann Insurance

John Engelmann, Insurance Broker, President, has been an independent insurance broker in Lodi since 1989.  In 2005, John stepped out on his own.  It's been a wonderful experience.  To say he is anything less then a people person would be an understatement.  John has not only been a broker since 1989, he's been active in the community and the insurance industry building long term relationships.  This benefits all involved.  John enjoys camping with his boys, Chad, 12, Dylan, 11 & Alex, 7.  Well, come to think about it, he likes to anything with his boys!!

Karyn Dennert, Office Manager, has been with John since 2000 & is truly the backbone of our agency.  Her very detailed personality helps to keep our office running smoothly, updating agency procedures that are ever changing to serve our clients & the insurance industry.  Karyn is a long time Lodi resident along with many of her family.  She also has been performing locally with the City of Lodi tap dance group "Steppin' Out"  for the past 15 years.

Amanda Paiva, Insurance Broker, Personal Lines Manager, is also a long time Lodian.  She grew up in an insurance family so insurance is truly in her blood.  Her shinning personality & eagerness to help, gives her the ability to deliver great results.  Amanda loves the way we do business!!  In her spare time, she likes to work with local groups such as ASPCA & PETA.  She also loves to BBQ (veggie burgers) with family & friends.

William “Skip” Breland, Commercial Lines Broker, has been in the insurance industry for 25 years. With Skip’s vast experience on the carrier side, wholesale & retail agencies, he specializes in commercial, but at times can’t keep his hands out of the personal lines arena. His key to success is building long term relationships providing the service his clients have come to expect. Skip is a lifetime Lodian & with his wife Hope, they have raised 2 children here in Lodi. In his spare time Skip & Hope enjoy traveling & playing golf.

Our office is located at 2000 W. Kettleman Lane, at Mills Ave., Lodi, 95242.  For you long term Lodians, we're in the "building with the blue tile roof."  From Kettleman, go south on Mills, then a right into the first driveway & follow it on around to the right.  We're located at the far end of the parking lot, up against Kettleman Lane.
